You could recommend products/videos/content from other apps or websites and once that user clicks on the link through your app, you get a commission out of it.

Could be a commission out of a sale for a simple visit.

But make sure that everything is well discussed and the companies you partner with, share the same values as you and can add to your app as well.

Think of your users first and what will truly add to their experience.

Prizes

This is an indirect way to make profits, but very common as well.

You can set a promotion where, once your user recommends your App to 10 people, he gets a premium version for free, or earn coins, or receive discounts on a purchase.

You can set what is best for you, but indirectly, you are getting more users to download your app and potentially make purchases in it.
